Addicted to CAS #20

This is one of my favorite CAS card layouts.  I chose to go with Christmas because of the Holiday Theme at Addicted to CAS.  One could easily change this to a birthday theme with different papers.  Sentiment is Stampin' Up.

OWH Sketch #187

Good morning!  Another fun sketch thanks to Jen!  My card was created with a kit that was created by Ann Merkins!  Super yummy.  I thought it was a perfect fit.  Thanks for stopping by...

OWH MWT: Cards 4 Kids

I decided that it was time to color this fun free image from Elizabeth O. Dulemba.  I have a young grandnephew who will only play with green and yellow tractors so I used that as my inspiration. Papers are by Generations.  Pretty easy...

OWH Sketch #186

Good afternoon...  I decided to help me get "caught up" on the OWH challenges I would combine the MWT Friendship theme with the Sunday's sketch.  Sandy's challenge to make a guy to guy friendship card got my brain thinking.  I decided to go with a humorous golf theme as I think there are probably some great golfing memories that might be triggered with the image.

Most of the paper is from Doodlebug.  Embossing folder is from Darice. Sentiment was made using leftover rub-ons.  Hoping your Sunday is a great one!

OWH Sketch #185

Another fun sketch!  I decided to go with the fall theme as the deadline will be here before I know it.  I was super inspired by this sketch and decided to start with my embossing folder.  Woodgrain is one of my favorites although I am not sure I have used it before.  Some inking really helps the grain pop.  I decided to use stickers for my sentiment, probably because I have so many.  The bow was made using the fork technique which I think is very easy now that I have it ingrained in my brain.  So happy to have made a card.  Have a great day!

OWH Sketch #184

There is nothing like a good cup of coffee and a great sketch...which is exactly how I like to start my Sunday mornings!  A diecut from K&Co was used as my starting point.  The dps are scraps from Deja Views which I had used for a fall card kit.  The pad is actually dog oriented but had great papers for fall cards.  I did cut my circle to 3" to pop the diecut on and added a embossed panel as I am trying to use more dry embossing on my cards.  Enjoy your day!

Sketch #182 & Sketch 183

Hello!  Sorry to have been away for so long!  I have been battling poison ivy for almost four weeks in addition to not being able to take pictures for awhile.  I broke my memory card and had to order a new one online.  I have been making a few cards mostly from the FB Scrap To Treasure Christmas in July card kit swap.  The Sketch #182 card was made from Sandi Freeman's kit.

Sketch 183 was made using a leftover image from one of the kits and scrap papers.  I embossed the pattern paper with a new Hero Arts embossing folder I had recentily purchased on sale.  I am also linking this card up with this month's Boot Camp topic of Get Your Priorities Straight to get a little imput from Paula.  Not quite sure if the white matting throws the whole thing off as it is a fourth color.

That is all for now...
